ROYAL NAVY AND LORD NELSON RELICS. LOT OFapproximately 28 pieces of memorabilia, to include: Book bound with wood scavenged from the wreck of the Royal George, published 1841 by S. Horsey, front board is split into three pieces. Metal and enamel cup with image of Nelson, HMS Victory on verso (3 1/2" high) image of Victory is faded some, shows wear from use. Envelope with four 200th anniversary Battle of Trafalgar Bermuda stamps, enclosed is a 2005 letter about the event. Brass enameled pill box by Crumbles and Co depicting the HMS Victory, reads "Like Nelson may each Briton be a friend to King and Country" (1 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/4"). Brass enameled pill box by Halcyon Days with an image of Nelson on the cover, reads "England expects that every man will do his duty" (1 3/4" diameter, 1 1/4" high). Metal cover for matchbox, enameled image of the HMS Victory on top (2 1/2" long) shows heavy rust. Cobalt glass rolling pin, commemorating the ship HMS Vigilant, "Love and Be True" (15 1/2" long) shows wear to paint. Copper ashtray with enamel piece at the center depicting the HMS Victory (4 1/2" diameter) some light wear. Two lead bullets. Four Royal Navy brass buttons (just under 1" diameter) and larger US Navy brass button (just over 1") all show some wear, tarnish. Shand Kydd pottery dish depicting the HMS Victory (5 1/2" diameter). 1907 British penny, extremely worn illegible British penny, 1880 British penny, 1806 Georgius III D G Rex coin, 1855 US cent, 1906 British penny, commemorative Nelson copper alloy coin, silvertone coin commemorating Nelson, 1817 British sterling pound coin, 1876 British penny (worn), 1918 British penny, 1924 British Penny, 1823 US cent, 1799 British penny.
